The exploitation of children for prostitution is an increasing and disturbing crime in Georgia. We have received a grant from the State to help us specifically address this problem. With that grant, we created the Sandy Springs Sexual Trafficking Assessment Team (SS STAT) to identify, locate and assist children who have been coerced or forced into prostitution or other forms of commercial sexual exploitation. We have hired a victim’s advocate to help facilitate our victims receiving the best possible medical and psychological care in hopes that they will transition back into society more easily and lead productive futures.
The victim advocate for the CSEC program is Elizabeth Goatley. 770-551-6956
