Sandy Springs Police conduct active narcotics investigations based on tips from the public, information from other law-enforcement agencies and information cultivated by police officers and narcotics detectives. The unit conducted several large scale investigations in conjunction with other local police agencies as well as federal authorities in 2010. The unit commander is Sergeant Rob Stevens. 770-551-6936.
