SSPD officers conducted PIT training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, Georgia in November. Officers learned the technique of disabling a suspect vehicle by putting the vehicle into a low-speed spin. The technique also involves "pinning" a suspect's vehicle with two police vehicles. The training is described by the officers as extremely helpful and extremely fun.
