The unit strives to ensure that the integrity of the Department remains intact. Each investigation is conducted objectively and thoroughly. The goal of the internal affairs unit is to determine the facts of complaints filed against sworn and / or civilian staff and make referrals based on if or not the complaint is substantiated or found to be unfounded.
