The Sandy Springs Police take child safety very seriously. The departments main focus is to prevent and investigate child abuse and neglect of persons under the age of 18, sexual offenses where either the perpetrator or victim is a juvenile, domestic snatchings (parental kidnapping), missing juveniles or other offenses.
